2991424524-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Ombudsman Educational Services seeks an Elementary School Teacher to support at-risk and nontraditional learners in a small, structured alternative education setting. In this role, you will plan and deliver standards-based, personalized instruction, using data to adjust teaching and help students close academic gaps. You will foster a safe, supportive classroom, implement behavior support strategies, and collaborate closely with school districts, support staff, and families. This mission-driven position offers opportunities to grow skills in special education, behavior support, and student advocacy. Responsibilities Plan and deliver standards-based, differentiated lessons for elementary students in an alternative education setting. Create a safe, structured, student-centered classroom that supports at-risk and nontraditional learners. Use assessments and student data to monitor progress and adjust instruction. Implement behavior support strategies and classroom management aligned with program expectations. Collaborate with school districts, support staff, and families to coordinate student supports. Contribute to IEP and intervention planning and implement accommodations as required. Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and documentation of student performance. Participate in professional development focused on special education, behavior support, and student advocacy.
