7.25REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Illinois Professional Educator's License (9-12), regular education Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work professionally with other educators Strong communication skills in working with students, parents and administration Strong organizational skills Demonstrated ability to use current computer technology and instructional software. Experience with using Edmentum Demonstrated ability to teach critical-thinking and problem-solving skills Strong knowledge of intervention strategies and progress monitoring experience Strong Behavior Management Ability to informally assess learning and behavioral needs of students Committed to continuous improvement and professional growthRESPONSIBILITIES
Work under the direction of the Grant Administrator and Principal Establish and maintain a classroom climate and management plan conducive to learning Plan, facilitate, adapt learning activities for whole group and small group engagement to meet students' varying needs and abilities Actively participate as a member of a professional learning community Contribute as a team member and/or leader to all school initiatives Willingness to guide/lead technology efforts as a means to support the work of students Communicate effectively with students, parents and staff Use a variety of methods to monitor student learning and assess student progress Cooperate in carrying out school district rules and regulations Be punctual and regular in attendance Perform other duties as assignedAPPLICATION DEADLINE
