This position will be housed on the Maysville or Rowan campus. This in-person position offers the opportunity to shape the next generation of paramedics while making a meaningful impact on our community's healthcare future. As a Paramedic Adjunct Instructor, you'll teach both classroom theory and hands-on clinical skills to aspiring emergency medical professionals. You'll work alongside dedicated colleagues in a supportive environment that values innovation, collaboration, and student success. Our program combines cutting-edge simulation technology with real-world experience to prepare graduates for rewarding careers in emergency medical services.Job Duties:
- Deliver lectures and hands-on training aligned with the course curriculum and industry standards.
- Demonstrate proper techniques for emergency medical procedures, including patient assessment, airway management, and trauma care.
- Facilitate classroom discussions and interactive learning experiences.
- Assess student progress through exams, practical evaluations, and assignments.
- Ensure compliance with CAAHEP/CoAEMSP, state, and national EMS education guidelines.
- Maintain a positive and professional learning environment that supports student success.
- Participate in curriculum development and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Support program accreditation efforts and documentation as required by CoAEMSP.
- Engage in professional development and maintain current knowledge of EMS education standards.
- Collaborate with faculty, administration, and clinical partners to ensure effective instruction and clinical integration.
