Experience Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide and support classroom instruction for SLCC's Corporate College. Maintain a safe, orderly and up-to-date lab area for the application of multiple labs (if applicable). Develop and maintain professional relations with the industry through industry visits and advisory committee meetings. Maintain classroom hours as listed on the course syllabus. Prepare and provide course syllabi and instructional materials to students. Evaluate and review students' progress in attaining goals and objectives. Keep appropriate records of testing and grading, as per college standards. Utilize technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, communicate with others and facilitate learning. Maintain student discipline through effective classroom management. Attain, maintain and review program certification requirements, as appropriate. Fulfill professional assignments in accordance with the South Louisiana Community College calendar and contractual obligations. Partner with Business and Industry to promote program.
Required Education :
High School Diploma or GED Required Experience :
Certifications relative to the field of instruction 5 years industry experience
Preferred Education :
Associate Degree Passing pre-employment criminal background and drug screen are required as a condition of employment.
