Driving Instructor - AGI Driving Academy (Lake Charles, LA) Are you passionate about teaching and helping others? AGI Driving Academy is the fastest-growing driving schools in Southwest Louisiana, and we're looking for patient, professional Driving Instructors to join our team. This is a rewarding role where you'll play a vital part in teaching first-time drivers the skills they need to drive safely and confidently.

Opportunity to advance as our school expands Responsibilities Provide engaging behind-the-wheel instruction (2-4 hour sessions) Teach traffic rules, road safety, and defensive driving techniques Create a safe and positive learning environment for students Track student progress and maintain required documentation Support students with questions and build their driving confidence Requirements Valid Louisiana driver's license with a clean driving record (5 years) Clean background check (10 years) High school diploma (required) 10 years of driving experience Excellent communication, patience, and professionalism Ability to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends State Instructor Certification (we provide paid training) Important Notes Training includes completing the 30-hour curriculum, passing the exam, and attending OMV Third Party Tester training (via Zoom). While with students or parents, instructors must remain professional (no smoking, vaping, eating, or phone use, except in emergencies). Why Join AGI?
