Oxford-Cumberland Canal School Canal School is looking for warm, caring, and energetic PreK Ed Techs for their new Westbrook Public PreK program serving 4 year old students. Each Ed Tech 3 will be matched with a PreK teacher to support two sessions of PreK a day, morning and afternoon sessions. Ed Techs will serve as a support to the teacher and students in all aspects of the day including learning, play, eating, hygiene, and station activities. Experience working with preschool aged children is highly desired. School Description As a small neighborhood school serving students PreK - 4th grade, Canal believes in working collaboratively with families and the community to support all our students. Strong relationships within our school community and with community partnerships enable us to foster academic growth while supporting social, emotional, and basic needs. We customize our instructional practices to best support our population through the inclusion of Title 1, MultiLingual, Special Education, Alternative Learning, Gifted and Talented, and counseling services in our family atmosphere. Through our work with PBIS and BARR we build on student assets and school pillars to cultivate and grow strong connections and caring relationships. Canal School encompasses a widely diverse and culturally rich student population that always has student needs as priority number one!
