Oxford-Cumberland Canal School Canal School is looking for caring, dedicated, collaborative, and energetic PreK teachers for the new Westbrook Public PreK program serving 4 year old students. PreK Teachers will teach two sessions of preschool students a day - a morning class and a different afternoon class. The PreK teacher will also have an Ed Tech 3 working with them in supporting the students and instruction. Experience and knowledge of the PreK for Me curriculum and working with preschool students is preferred. Strong classroom management practices and commitment to building and maintaining relationships with our students and their families is a must to ensure our students are cared about and their social, emotional, and academic growth is paramount. School Description As a small neighborhood school serving students PreK - 4th grade, Canal believes in working collaboratively with families and the community to support all our students. Strong relationships within our school community and with community partnerships enable us to foster academic growth while supporting social, emotional, and basic needs. We customize our instructional practices to best support our population through the inclusion of Title 1, MultiLingual, Special Education, Alternative Learning, Gifted and Talented, and counseling services in our family atmosphere.
