Job description Lake Michigan Academy (LMA) in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a passionate and innovative Math & Science Middle School teacher to join our collaborative and supportive team, with an average classroom size of 8 students, for the upcoming school year. As a Science Teacher, you will have the exciting opportunity to: Design and deliver engaging science & math curriculum: While we are integrating project-based learning, you will have significant freedom to adapt the curriculum to tailor it to student interests and real-world applications. Teach small, mixed-grade classes: Our average class size of 8 students allows for individualized attention and fosters strong teacher-student relationships. You'll truly get to know your students and their unique learning styles. Facilitate hands-on, project-based learning: We are committed to a project-based approach, and we're looking for an educator who can bring learning to life through exciting investigations, experiments, and collaborative projects.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field. Experience working with middle and high school-aged students. A passion for science & math and a desire to inspire lifelong learners. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Certification is not required at the time of hire, but the successful candidate will be expected to obtain appropriate certification within two years. Why Lake Michigan Academy?
