Key Qualifications:
Active Michigan teaching certificate with a Math Endorsement (please ensure all current licenses/certifications are included when applying) Demonstrated background in teaching high school mathematics within a general education curriculum Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to learners of varying abilities Strong classroom management and communication skills Proven record of fostering positive relationships with students and facultyWhat You'll Do:
Plan and implement effective math lessons in alignment with curriculum standards for high school students Assess student understanding and adjust instructional methods to support individual learning needs Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration to promote student achievement Maintain timely and accurate records of student progress, attendance, and reporting Support classroom culture that emphasizes respect, inclusivity, and academic growth Participate in school meetings, professional development, and outreach as required This position starts August 24, 2026 and continues through June 4, 2027, with full-time hours totaling 37.5 each week.
