Job Description

A contract position is now available for a passionate educator ready to make a meaningful impact during the 2026-2027 school year. Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in teaching or a closely related field from an accredited institution Minnesota State certification in K-6 Elementary Education Possession of a valid tier 2 or tier 3 teaching license Strong understanding of elementary-level curriculum and instructional best practices Familiarity with integrating technology into lesson plans and differentiating instruction Ability to inspire, motivate, and effectively manage a classroom of diverse learners
Primary Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic instructional lessons that facilitate student engagement and active learning Demonstrate subject matter expertise and ensure curriculum alignment with state standards Use a range of strategies to address the varying abilities, interests, and learning styles of students Guide, monitor, and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support Incorporate technology and innovative resources to enhance student learning experiences Collaborate with staff and families to support each child's academic and social development This role features a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, from 9am-3:30pm, totaling 32.5 hours each week, running from August 19, 2026, to May 18, 2027.
