- Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education Description South College Asheville learning site located in Asheville, NC, is conducting a search for the position of Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education (ACCE) for the Physical Therapist Assistant Program (instructor/assistant professor/associate professor; commensurate with experience).
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the clinical education component of the PTA program, including planning, scheduling, and grading of clinical assignments Collaborate with clinical educational faculty to address learning needs of students. Partner with clinical education sites to ensure high-quality educational experiences for all students. Maintain professional standards of practice in teaching in the classroom and clinical settings. Meet South College standards for course syllabi creation and submission, classroom management, use of technology, grade submission, and records management. Function as a part of South College and South College PTA faculty group. Participate in meetings, projects, recruiting, and committee work. Support student success through mentoring, tutoring, and advising.Requirements:
Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited PTA or PT program Bachelor's degree in related field required. Master's degree preferred.
