Driver Education Instructor Chapel Hill/ Durham Candidates will be required to complete training for a NCDMV Commercial Instructor license. This will include training and passing both a written and road test administered by

Chapel Hill/Durham Requirement:

Training for NCDMV certification Must hold a valid NC Driver License for a minimum of 5 years Background check: Federal and State Current clean driving record for a minimum of 7 years Professional and Rewarding! Working with high school students who are eager and enthusiastic to begin their driving experience.

Position Description:

Part-Time Monday-Friday 4 pm-8 pm school days Optional weekends, 7 am-7 pm on Saturdays/Sundays Summer Hours 7am to 7pm The minimum work requirement is 25-30 hrs a week

Responsibilities:

Instruct students in safe driving techniques and traffic laws through behind-the-wheel training. To be able to consistently work the number of hours required Develop lesson plans that cater to various learning styles and ensure effective communication with both students and parents. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their driving skills. Maintain a valid driver's license and adhere to all safety regulations while teaching.
