USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app Keene State College's Construction Management program, housed within the Department of Safety and Construction Sciences, integrates expertise from the Safety, Business, and Architecture programs. Established in Fall 2020, it has quickly become one of the college's fastest-growing majors, expanding from just three students at launch to nearly one hundred today. The program emphasizes professional knowledge, critical thinking, and problem-solving, aligning these outcomes with the college's broader commitment to applied learning and student success. Duties/Responsibilities Teaching (80%)
  • Teach undergraduate courses and develop curriculum content focused on construction management and applied learning.
  • Design, deliver, and assess courses that integrate real-world industry practices, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Create instructional materials and experiential learning activities aligned with Keene State College's learning outcomes and accreditation standards.

  • Provide student support through regular office hours, and individualized mentoring.
  • Offer guidance on coursework, internships, and professional development.
  • Support student success through timely feedback and accessibility outside of class.

Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
  • Master's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field is required at time of appointment.
  • At least 2 years of professional, applied experience outside of academia, demonstrating effective application of construction management principles in practice settings.
  • A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience, which may include high school, college-level, or workplace training environments.
Experience should encompass course planning, delivery, management of classroom or virtual settings, assessment of teaching, and engagement in continuous improvement practices.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Demonstrated expertise in key areas such as Estimating, Plan Reading/Building Information Modeling (BIM), Commercial Construction, Scheduling.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Preference may be given to candidates who possess board certified designations and to those that maintain their status as an engineer. Compensation Pay Range:
$800/credit or $840/credit for those with terminal degrees This is the standard unless a different rate has already been negotiated and approved by the dean.
