Desired Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification for elementary or general education (Special Education endorsement preferred) Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field Prior experience with K-4 grade levels, particularly in special education settings Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to adapt instruction for diverse learning needs Collaborative team spirit and commitment to a supportive community
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet IEP goals and diverse student needs Create a safe, welcoming classroom where all students feel valued Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed Collaborate with paraprofessionals, families, and school staff Maintain accurate records, including documentation for IEPs Participate in team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences
