Summer Cooking Instructor

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our team as a cooking/baking instructor for summer camp. This role involves working closely with students of various ages, providing hands-on guidance in the kitchen and fostering a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have teaching experience/ classroom management, a strong background in engaging with children and adults alike and a love of cooking and baking. Responsibilities Set up and clean up Instruct and engage children while following a provided curriculum of cooking and baking skills Requirements Hours are 9am-1pm Monday-Thursday and some additional afternoons possible Ability to manage kitchen classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students Excellent time management Adherence to kitchen safety and cleanliness standards Ability to work independently and as a team in a lively environment Experience working with children of varying ages Background in special education or adult education is a plus.
