Key Qualifications:

Valid NY State Visual Arts Initial Certificate required Experience as a general education or art teacher in school settings preferred Strong classroom management and lesson planning capabilities Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, and administration

Responsibilities:

Teach visual arts and integrate art concepts across multiple grade levels as assigned Develop engaging, standards-based lesson plans that nurture student creativity and skills Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback Maintain an organized, safe, and welcoming classroom environment Participate in school meetings, activities, and professional development as needed
