DESCRIPTION

Seeking highly qualified candidates for a full-time, tenure-track teaching position in integrated co-teacher classrooms. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of adolescent development, individualized instruction, assessment for progress monitoring, and will possess strong case-management skills. All classes in the Alternative Program are co-taught with a special education teacher, and average 8-12 students. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of differentiated instruction, strategies for active student engagement, use of instructional technology, and assessment for progress monitoring and planning.

SALARY:

Highly competitive, based on experience and graduate credits, per Rush-Henrietta Central School District Teachers' Contract.

LOCATION

Rush-Henrietta Senior High School - Alternative Program (Grades 9-12) C.O. Webster Learning Center, Rush-Henrietta

QUALIFICATIONS

New York State Teaching Certification in Special Education (Secondary and/or K-12) is required.

EFFECTIVE

September 1, 2026 Attendance at New Teacher Orientation on August 25-27 is required.
