Our private school is dedicated to educating children with Autism and is looking for a licensed Intervention Specialist to join our team. Special Education Teachers provide a first-rate education to our students, take the lead in student's education and help them to achieve their greatest potential. We currently have openings for both Elementary and Middle School age students. Responsibilities Develop and implement an effective education plan for the students in your classroom Ensure instructional material aligns with the Ohio Department of Education standards Communicate with other staff/family members about each student's progress and struggles Prepare detailed lesson plans Participate in IEP (individual education plan) meetings Create a safe, productive classroom environment Qualities and Experiences for this

Position:

Bachelor's Degree in Education Intervention Specialist License, preferred Clinical or educational experience with the autism population. Ability to complete all special education paperwork and monitor student progress. Valid Ohio Education License Necessary and must be able to pass a FBI/BCI background check.
