Adjunct Faculty - Arts & Crafts Instructor (Continuing Education)

Job Summary Tulsa Community College is seeking a creative and engaging Arts & Crafts Instructor for Continuing Education courses. The instructor will lead non-credit, community-based classes focused on hands-on crafting skills and artistic expression in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Campus location is flexible.

Course Types May Include:

Crocheting Knitting Jewelry Making Other arts, crafts, or DIY creative workshops Essential Duties Plan and lead engaging, hands-on arts and crafts classes Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for adult learners of varying skill levels Demonstrate techniques clearly and provide step-by-step instruction Adapt lessons to meet the needs and interests of participants Ensure a safe and organized classroom or workspace Maintain professional communication with Continuing Education staff Minimum Qualifications Experience teaching or leading arts and crafts classes (crocheting, knitting, jewelry making, or related areas) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to engage and support learners in a community-based setting Must submit a course proposal outlining the class content, structure, and learning outcomes as part of the application process: https://tulsacc.wufoo.com/forms/k1gh3qm31wa3dwj/ Preferred Qualifications Formal training or certification in arts, crafts, or a related field (if applicable) Experience teaching adult learners in community or recreational settings Location Tulsa, OK Job Type Adjunct Job Number
