With two openings available on a contract basis through June 2027, this role offers the chance to engage and support a diverse group of learners while collaborating with dedicated colleagues.
What You'll Bring:
Active teaching certification or licensure appropriate for high school general education math Bachelor's degree (required for emergency teaching permit) Demonstrated experience teaching in a school setting, especially in urban environments Strong command of subject matter and instructional best practices Proficiency in designing and executing lesson plans aligned with state and district standards Expertise in formative assessment and differentiated instruction Reliable transportation and promptness within the workday hours of 8:30 AM-4:00 PM Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances Exceptional classroom and behavioral management skills Comfort with district processes and commitment to onsite presence Adaptability and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team
