POSITION
Educational Assistant (Before/After Care)
COMPENSATION
$20.84 p/hr Part-time/No benefits
HOURS:
6:55 am - 8:55 am and/or 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
DESCRIPTION
The Before/After Care Educational Assistant performs a wide variety of duties in support of the Child Care Program within the program space, gym, and playground, as assigned, directed and supervised by a professional staff member/child care supervisor. Must be able to lift up to 10lbs, must be able to stand for extended periods of time and have the ability to walk/run. Must work as a team member and exercise good judgement, prioritize tasks and communicate effectively with team members. Candidates must have patience and enjoy working with children. Prior experience working with children is preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum High School Diploma required.

DESCRIPTION
The Community School Before & After Care Instructor plans and directs activities, provides instruction and care for children in a wide variety of duties. Active supervision within the program space, gym, and playground, as assigned, directed by a child care supervisor. The Instructor directly assists the supervisor in daily operations of the program. Must work as a team member and exercise good judgement, prioritize tasks and communicate effectively with team members. Candidates must have patience and enjoy working with children. Must be able to stand, walk/run and lift 10lbs. Prior experience working with children is preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree from accredited four-year college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary or secondary education or the human services field.
Pay:
$20.84 - $21.91 per hour
