Job Description

POSITION

Mentors- grades TBD (5 positions)

LOCATION

Pell Elementary

REPORTS TO

Pell Administration

SCHOOL YEAR

2026/27

EDUCATION, TRAINING, and

EXPERIENCE

Assigned to Pell Elementary in desired certification

Demonstrates willingness to perform the responsibilities listed below as evidenced by previous experience.

Has strong organizational skills

Promotes positive relationships with Pell colleagues

RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as a mentor to teachers with same certification

Meet with mentee teachers on a regular basis.

Provide explanation and professional development of grade level curriculum.

Support mentee teacher with assistance in school policies and initiatives

Assist mentee with required grade level assessments and computer programs

Participates in Monthly Professional Development around mentoring.

Maintain record of meetings and agenda items

Meetings not to exceed 30 hours annually.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

$1,500 stipend
