The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in various technical subjects, including Duties Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cover key topics in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, air conditioning, and aircraft maintenance. Utilize Blackboard and other educational technologies to facilitate online learning and classroom management. Fabricate hands-on projects that allow students to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings. Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development. Job Description Austin Community College Continuing Education is proud to partner with churches, community centers, and schools to offer courses in high demand construction trades in Austin and surrounding areas. ACC Continuing Education is looking for instructors to teach courses in the areas of Plumbing. These instructors will travel to different locations to offer trades education to residents in North Austin area, Smithville and Lockhart.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years experience working in the field A positive attitude and a passion for working in the trade fields a must!
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiar with NCCER or NATE curriculum Master Plumbing License Teaching Experience Bilingual English-Spanish preferable Part-time. Evenings Mon, Wed & Fri from 6:00 pm
  • 9:30 pm, or Tue, Thu from 6:00 pm
  • 9:30 pm and Sat from 9:00 pm
  • 12:30 pm. Hourly rate $48
  • 55/hr based on teaching location and experience Experience Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse groups of learners.
