Industrial Technology Job Summary This position carries with it the obligation to uphold the Mission of North Central Texas College in carrying out the duties of the position. A commitment that embraces positive interpersonal behaviors, professional communication, integrity, leadership, stewardship, respect, and accountability to our students and employees. It is the responsibility of the teaching faculty to: Provide learning activities and support that will lead to the achievement of course and program objectives. Contribute to the overall educational environment of the college and the community. Provide related services such as academic advising, committee participation, and professional and community development. Other service support that is needed in the fulfillment of the North Central Texas College's Mission. Teaching college courses in Machining Classes scheduled during the day or evenings depending on enrollment. Candidate must work well in a team environment and communicate effectively in an instructional setting, be a self-starter, be willing to work with a flexible schedule. Travel may be required to various locations. Required Education Bachelor's Degree in Machining or related discipline OR Associate Degree in Machining or related discipline and three years' work experience in the area of assigned instruction

Individuals with 8 or more years experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Work experience must be confirmed by letter(s) from employer(s). Required Skills & Abilities Three years experience in machining. Required Experience Three years of experience in the machining industry including blueprints, codes, metallurgy standards, materials, and manufacturing projects. Preferred Experience 4+ years related work experience Community College and or public school teaching experience. Online curriculum development and online teaching experience. Special Instructions to Applicants Subject to criminal background check. Employees must reside in Texas or Oklahoma.
