Position:
KB Tech Institute is seeking a knowledgeable and motivate d Part-Time IT Instructor to join our team in Houston. We are looking for an IT professional with 1-5+ years of hands-on experience in the technology field, a genuine passion for technology, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys sharing their knowledge and can communicate technical concepts in a clear, practical, and approachable way. Our instructors work with students from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels, so the ability to connect with people, answer questions, provide guidance, and create a positive learning environment is important. Previous teaching experience is welcomed but is not required. We are especially interested in IT professionals who are enthusiastic about technology and want to use their real-world experience to help the next generation of IT professionals develop their skills and advance their careers.
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, instructor-led IT training in a classroom environment. Teach and reinforce concepts related to applicable industry certifications. Explain technical concepts in a way that students with varying experience levels can understand. Provide hands-on demonstrations and practical exercises when appropriate. Help students prepare for certification exams and real-world IT environments. Track student participation and progress. Provide constructive feedback and additional guidance to students when needed. Maintain a positive, organized, and professional classroom. Manage classroom dynamics and keep students engaged and focused. Collaborate with KB Tech Institute staff regarding curriculum, student progress, and instructional needs. Current possession of or willingness to obtain, within the first 6 months of employment Any of the following certifications. CompTIA A+ CompTIA Network+ CompTIA Security+ CompTIA CySA+ Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Microsoft Azure / Cloud Technologies Artificial Intelligence (AI) fundamentals and related technologies
