Educational Requirements for the Position Master's degree required, Doctorate preferred. Experience Required for the Position All qualified applicants will be considered, but preference will be given to those with a successful record of teaching at the university, secondary, and elementary levels. Kodaly certification is also highly desirable. Other Requirements for the Position Experience and knowledge of Kodaly philosophy and materials, Orff techniques and instruments, folk song analysis, solfege, Dalcorze concepts, and methods of other pedagogues in the field of elementary music.
