A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Recruits and screens tenants for apartments, collects rents and security deposits, responds to requests or complaints from tenants, supervises maintenance and repairs; oversees payment of bills, insurance, taxes and recordkeeping. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Job Description
Duties:
- Oversee the daily operations of the community, ensuring smooth functioning and resident satisfaction.
- Manage and supervise community staff, including leasing consultants, maintenance technicians, and administrative personnel.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new residents and maintain high occupancy rates.
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective residents.
- Handle resident inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with maintenance team to ensure prompt resolution of maintenance issues and property upkeep.
- Utilize Onesite management software to manage resident information, leases, and financials.
- Implement effective customer relationship management strategies to enhance resident retention and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for property maintenance and repairs.
- Prepare and negotiate lease agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in property management or real estate administration is preferred.
- Proficient in using Onesite.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent phone etiquette.
- Ability to upsell additional services or amenities to prospective residents.
- Knowledge of property maintenance best practices and ability to coordinate repairs.
- Strong negotiation skills for contract management with vendors and contractors.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite for administrative tasks.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$50,000.00- $60,000.
