What You'll Do As our Education Leader, you'll be the coach behind the coaches. You'll train, support, and inspire our Learning Leaders while helping ensure that every Future Professional receives an engaging, consistent, and high-quality education. In this role, you'll: Train, coach, and develop our Learning Leaders Support high-quality technical education in the classroom and clinic classroom Create game plans to strengthen teaching strategies and technical skills Collaborate with Learning Leaders and Skill Specialists on curriculum, lesson plans, and specialty education Monitor student progress and help Future Professionals stay engaged and on track Maintain educational standards, documentation, and school goals Help create a positive, inclusive, and motivating school culture Lead with confidence, consistency, accountability, and kindness Celebrate wins, solve problems, and keep the education team moving forward This is a fast-paced leadership position where you'll wear plenty of hats-educator, coach, mentor, technical expert, team manager, problem-solver, and sometimes professional hype person. Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who can balance creativity with organization and compassion with accountability. You understand the beauty industry, enjoy helping others grow, and know how to keep a team focused without losing the fun.
Our ideal candidate has:
Previous experience teaching in a cosmetology school A current Utah cosmetology, barbering, esthetics, or nail license, along with any required instructor credentials Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills Excellent organization and follow-through Experience with supervision, teamwork, documentation, and goal-setting The ability to manage education goals and budget-related responsibilities A passion for the beauty industry and student success A professional, honest, and solutions-focused mindset A solid work history with verifiable references Knowledge of Paul Mitchell Schools' cultural and technical systems is preferred, but not required Why You'll Love It Here This role is for someone who wants more than just another job.
