Tiny Chefs has an amazing opportunity for energetic, fun, organized, punctual, and dependable Cooking Instructors to join our team for upcoming school-break and holiday camps throughout Northern Virginia! We are looking for enthusiastic instructors who enjoy working with children and have a passion for cooking, teaching, and creating memorable experiences. Teaching or childcare experience is a plus, but not required —we provide the curriculum, equipment, and support you need to lead a successful camp day.

Our camps take place on school days off and holiday breaks throughout the school year , including camps around: Thanksgiving break Winter Break / Christmas & New Year's Other school holidays and days off Camp schedules vary by location . Some camps are half-day , while most are full-day camps running approximately 8:00 AM-4:30 PM . Instructors should be comfortable committing to the full camp day when assigned to a full-day location.
What You'll Do:
As a Tiny Chefs Cooking Instructor, you will guide students through fun, hands-on culinary experiences while helping them build confidence and important life skills. During the camp day, instructors will: Teach children how to prepare recipes using age-appropriate cooking techniques Introduce students to ingredients and encourage curiosity about food Demonstrate kitchen safety and proper cooking practices Help students develop teamwork, communication, and following-directions skills Encourage good manners, independence, and confidence in the kitchen Incorporate outdoor play and non-cooking activities to complement the day's lessons Create a positive, energetic, and inclusive environment where every camper feels successful Shop for and purchase groceries and ingredients needed for your assigned camp. Tiny Chefs provides the funds for all approved camp grocery purchases. Transport provided cooking supplies, equipment, and groceries to and from your assigned camp location Tiny Chefs provides the curriculum, equipment, supplies, and funds for camp groceries , so you can focus on what matters most—engaging with campers and making cooking fun!
