Overview Join our dynamic team as a Drivers Education Instructor specializing in in-car instruction! In this vital role, you will empower new and experienced drivers by providing expert, hands-on training that emphasizes safety, skill development, and confidence behind the wheel. Your energetic approach will inspire students to master essential driving techniques, adhere to traffic regulations, and navigate various road conditions with ease. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact on road safety while honing your instructional expertise in a lively, supportive environment. Duties Deliver comprehensive in-car driving lessons to students of all ages, focusing on standard passenger car operation and advanced driving techniques Conduct specialized instruction including night driving, adverse weather conditions, highway maneuvers, and off-road driving as needed Provide personalized driver training tailored to individual skill levels, including teen driver instruction and driver rehabilitation programs Teach traffic safety principles and defensive driving strategies to promote responsible road behavior Assess student progress through practical evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance their driving skills Maintain clear communication with students. Ensure all instruction complies with local traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies Requirements Proven experience in senior driver instruction or personal driving coaching with a strong understanding of traffic regulations is desired but not necessary. Ability to operate standard passenger cars and motorcycles safely, including manual transmission vehicles Skilled in classroom management and online instruction methods for blended learning experiences Expertise in teaching motorcycle safety and special needs driver instruction when applicable Knowledge of defensive driving techniques, highway maneuvers, night driving, adverse weather techniques, and off-road driving instruction Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and adapt teaching styles accordingly Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; proficiency in traffic safety instruction required Background check will be required.
