Job Description

Category Imaging•EEG Tech Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled EEG Technician to provide expert patient care in a fast-paced imaging setting. This contract position offers a structured weekday schedule and opportunities for continued professional growth, making it ideal for experienced EEG professionals.
Schedule:
12-hour days, Wednesday through Friday (6:30 am•7:00 pm)
Weekends:
Not required
On-call:
1 call per week and 1 Saturday call per month
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' experience as an EEG Technician in a clinical environment Current and valid BLS certification (AHA required) One of the following professional credentials: Board of Registered EEG Technologist (ABRET)•
REQUIRED
Certified EEG Technician (CET) registry•
REQUIRED
Strong proficiency in conducting routine and complex EEG studies Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and advanced EEG procedures for inpatients and outpatients Ensure accurate patient identification, preparation, and equipment setup Monitor patients during testing and provide immediate response to urgent situations Maintain high standards of safety, infection control, and documentation Serve as a resource for patients and families, explaining procedures and addressing concerns Participate in on-call rotations as required
