Electrical Technician

Job Summary Titan International, Inc., a global leading wheel and tire assembly manufacturer for the agriculture, construction, forestry and mining markets, is seeking Electrical Technicians to join our 3rd shifts at Titan Tire Corporation, located in Des Moines, IA. The primary function of this position (Electrical Technician) is to install, alter, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment and fixtures. They will lead and direct the work of 2-5 Electricians. Must be able to perform work independently or under the general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and/or the Engineering Manager. Uses independent judgment and requires a high degree of confidentiality. Required Knowledge/Skills -Must be able to logically interpret schematics, troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic equipment efficiently. -Proficient knowledge of electronic and PLC Technology and programming. Familiar with electrical theory, NEC codes, and OSHA standards. -Ability to locate, analyze, and correct power failures, short circuits, and electrical related problems. - Effectively maintain the highest standards of excellence for safety, housekeeping, and quality in compliance with all codes and regulations. +Additional compensation for OT and weekend hours worked +Bonus potential is based on individual/plant performance
