Electrician at Greek Peak Mountain Resort! Are you a skilled Electrician looking for a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, outdoor environment? Greek Peak Mountain Resort is seeking a motivated professional to maintain and repair electrical systems across our expansive resort, from ski lifts and snowmaking equipment to our Adventure Center and waterpark. If you're passionate about electrical work and thrive in a fast-paced resort setting, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
Power the
Resort:
Maintain and repair the resort's primary power system, including transformers, circuit breakers, and 3-phase 480-volt power systems. Keep the
Lifts Running:
Service electrical components of ski lifts, including motors, control systems, and safety features.
Snowmaking Systems:
Maintain and troubleshoot pump motors, compressors, and electrical wiring for snow machines.
Lighting & Communications :
Ensure all hill and base area lighting, telephone systems, and public announcement systems are fully operational.
Building Maintenance:
Perform electrical repairs in resort buildings, lift shacks, ski patrol areas, and waterpark facilities.
Safety Compliance:
Work closely with regulatory agencies and inspectors to ensure safe, code-compliant operations.
Emergency Response:
Quickly respond to electrical issues, keeping guest safety and resort operations a top priority.
Who We're Looking For:
Certified Professional:
Must hold a valid electrician certification with experience in commercial and primary power systems.
Experienced & Skilled:
1-2 years of experience in electrical maintenance, with knowledge of 3-phase 480-volt power systems.
Problem Solver:
Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of electrical systems with efficiency and precision.
Flexible & Adaptable:
Willingness to work in outdoor conditions, at heights, and in a variety of weather environments.
Team Player:
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different resort departments.
Physical Stamina:
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, balancing, and working in high areas.
