Position Purpose:
- Under direction, installs, maintains, calibrates, troubleshoots, repairs and overhauls electrical components of equipment to keep electrically dependent equipment operational.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- + Required to follow all applicable safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures in performance of assigned duties.
Work Environment:
- + Work is performed in industrial environment involving exposure to dirt, dust, extremes in temperature and humidity, odors, heights, confined entry; may require use of breathing apparatus; generally works weekdays first shift hours, on-call nights, weekends, holidays.
- Qualifications
Education/Experience/Background:
- + High School Diploma/GED is required. + Five years Journeyman experience. + Experience with VFD's and programmable controllers.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- + Has a good working knowledge of all tools, bender, threader, pullers, simple, electrical meters, etc.
Required Certification/Licenses/Training:
- + Successful completion of a formal State indentured apprenticeship program. Preferably Maintenance. + Valid Wisconsin driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
- + Ability to meet the physical demands of the job. + Ability to work in confined spaces and to wear breathing apparatus for confined entry.
