Job Description
For over four decades, World Wide Stereo has been a leader in high-end audio/video, home automation, and smart home technology. Our award-winning team is passionate about delivering next-level experiences to our clients—from immersive home theaters to whole-home automation systems. We're expanding and looking for a skilled Electrician who shares our passion for excellence and attention to detail.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a licensed or experienced Electrician to support our residential and commercial A/V installation projects. In this role, you'll work alongside our integration and design teams to provide safe, code-compliant electrical work that supports our world-class systems, from power and lighting to structured wiring and equipment setup.Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, and lighting systems for home automation and A/V systems Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and project plans Collaborate with A/V technicians and project managers to ensure all electrical needs are met Perform rough and finish electrical work in custom homes, commercial spaces, and retrofit environments Ensure compliance with all NEC regulations, local electrical codes, and safety standards Troubleshoot electrical systems and provide clear solutions to issues that arise Maintain organized job sites and manage tools and materials efficientlyQualifications:
5+ years of experience as a residential/commercial electrician (low-voltage or high-voltage) Licensed or in the process of becoming licensed in Pennsylvania (preferred) Familiar with NEC code and safe electrical practices Experience working with or around A/V, networking, or home automation systems a plus Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and pride in workmanship Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative project team Valid driver's license and clean driving record Why Work With Us?
