Position Summary The Electrician Apprentice supports the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems related to swimming pools, spas, and outdoor living environments. This role is designed for individuals with 2+ years of electrical experience who want to expand their skills into specialized pool and outdoor electrical systems. This position works under the direction of a Lead Electrician and provides a clear path toward becoming a licensed and highly skilled pool electrician. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of electrical systems for: ○ Pool equipment (pumps, heaters, automation systems) ○ Outdoor lighting systems ○ Bonding and grounding systems ○ Control panels and subpanels
• Perform conduit runs (PVC and metal) for underground and exposed applications
• Assist with trenching, layout, and routing for electrical lines
• Support equipment hookups and system startups
• Participate in remodel and retrofit electrical work
• Read and interpret basic electrical plans and schematics
• Troubleshoot basic electrical issues under supervision
• Ensure all work complies with NEC codes and local regulations
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
• Follow all company and OSHA safety standards Required Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum 2+ years of electrical experience (residential or light commercial)
• Experience working outdoors and on active construction sites
• Basic understanding of: ○ Electrical wiring methods ○ Circuits, breakers, and load concepts ○ Hand and power tools used in electrical work
• Ability to run conduit and pull wire
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs and work in outdoor condition Preferred Skills (Not Required)
• Experience with pool or spa electrical systems
• Familiarity with automation systems (Pentair, Jandy, Hayward, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of low-voltage systems and lighting
• OSHA certification
• Experience with equipment pad layouts and hookups Compensation

Starting Pay:

Based on experience

• Competitive hourly rate with growth tied to skill development and licensing progress

$20.00
