Solar Electrician - New Multi-Family Construction Job Description This role focuses on installing solar panels on new multi-family construction projects. Will perform electrical and general construction tasks, and use hand and power tools to complete high-quality solar installations safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Assist with electrical work including routing, pulling, and securing wiring and conduit for solar systems. Perform general construction and production tasks to support the overall solar installation process. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to assemble, secure, and connect solar components. Inspect work areas, tools, and equipment to maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Follow instructions from site leadership to meet project timelines and quality expectations. Work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining productivity and safety standards. Essential Skills Hands-on experience with electrical installations Experience with electrical tasks such as wiring and conduit work. Proficiency using hand tools and power tools in a construction environment. Ability to work on industrial or large-scale residential projects. Capability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in varying weather conditions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience installing electrical on new construction homes or multi-family buildings. Familiarity with basic electrical principles related to solar systems. Comfort working at heights and following strict safety protocols. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical directions. Why Work Here? Work Environment This is an outdoor, field-based role on active construction sites. You will work primarily on pitched roofs and building exteriors, exposed to the elements including sun, wind, and varying temperatures. The position involves full 10-hour shifts, four days per week, with regular use of ladders, fall protection systems, and standard construction safety gear. You will frequently use hand tools and power tools and perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing, lifting, and working at heights throughout the workday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Norco, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
