Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Electroneurodiagnostic EEG Technologist, where you will play a vital role in diagnosing and monitoring neurological conditions through advanced electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, utilizing your expertise in neurophysiology and diagnostic evaluation to support patient care at a Pediatric Neurology Practice. Your skills will directly contribute to accurate diagnosis, effective treatment planning, and improved patient outcomes. Mostly working with children. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive EEG recordings for patients with neurological concerns, including routine, sleep-deprived, and specialized studies. Assist in the preparation and positioning of patients to ensure optimal signal quality while maintaining patient comfort and safety. Collaborate with neurologists to facilitate diagnostic evaluations. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient responses, and technical findings in compliance with neurodiagnostic protocols. Operate and troubleshoot complex neurodiagnostic equipment with precision, ensuring high-quality recordings for accurate interpretation. Requirements Prefer experience as an Electroneurodiagnostic EEG Technologist or will train to be able to perform studies. Strong knowledge of neuroanatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to neurological diagnostics. Demonstrated understanding of anatomy knowledge related to the nervous system and brain function. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clear documentation of findings.
Pay:
From $16.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
