Electronics Assembler

Electronics Assembler Job Description Perform basic and routine electronic and mechanical assembly operations on components, printed circuit boards, and subassemblies with moderate supervision. Utilize visual aids, verbal, and written instructions to position and align parts accurately. Use hand or power tools to secure parts, mount assembled components on chassis, panels, or circuit boards, route wiring and cabling through assembly to terminals according to color codes, and ensure proper electrical connections by soldering or wrapping wire around terminals. Responsibilities Perform electronic and mechanical assembly operations following established standards. Position and align parts using hand or power tools. Mount assembled components on chassis, panels, or circuit boards. Route wiring and cabling through assemblies to terminals according to color codes. Solder or wrap wire around terminals for electrical connections. Ensure quality and accuracy by adhering to schematics and work instructions. Essential Skills Proficiency in soldering, cable assembly, and electronics assembly. Experience with printed circuit boards (PCB) and circuit card assembly (CCA). Familiarity with through-hole and surface mount techniques. Ability to use hand tools such as strippers, crimpers, wire cutters, screwdrivers, and torque tools. Experience reading schematics, wire diagrams, and work instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of recent electronics assembly experience, preferably 5-7 years.
