Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Electronics Assembler to join our growing manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting a wide range of electronic products. This position plays a vital part in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of precision, reliability, and durability for our customers around the world. Essential Duties and Abilities Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and systems using hand tools and soldering equipment. Perform on-line testing and visual inspection using magnifying devices, measuring instruments and computerized and electronic test equipment, to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards. Enter data into computer databases. Maintain clean and organized work stations. Perform repetitive tasks carefully and consistently. Work at the pace required to meet production goals. Use basic numerical and mathematical skills. Qualifications and Experience High school degree or equivalent preferred. No prior experience is required. However, demonstrated ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and fine motor skills is desirable. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team. Any knowledge of manufacturing or experience with electronics is a plus. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment and Physical Demands Climate-controlled indoor manufacturing plant. Must be able to sit at a bench for up to 9 hours a day and stand for up to 5 hours a day. May be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Hours of Work 6:30am- 5:00pm, Monday through Thursday. Our manufacturing team works four, 10 hour shifts, equaling 40 hours per week. Available overtime is limited. Training You will receive on the job training to perform all required tasks.
Travel / Work
Location No business travel is required. 100% in NK's plant in Boothwyn, PA. You must have reliable transportation. Pay Rate $15.50 per hour with a potential rate increase based on performance following 90 days of employment. Annual pay raises are issued in January based on the NK Assembler Skills Matrix. Prior electronics assembly experience, soldering, or forklift ceritification may warrant a higher starting rate. All benefits are subject to a benefit waiting period of 60 to 90 days. Work Authorization/Security Clearance Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship. Security clearance is not required.
