Please join us as a Responsible Product Engineer/Certified Principal Engineer , where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state-of-the-art avionics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment.Location:
This position does not support teleworking ; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in:- Sunnyvale CA
- Littleton CO You will work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.
- Digital products include digital processing, software defined radio, command & data handling, controls & avionics, and any other digital systems that are utilized on Lockheed Martin space or missile systems.
- The critical skills utilized in this role will include experience in FPGA and/or ASIC design, Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design, Embedded Software, FPGA Gateware, Systems Engineering/Requirements Management, Systems Integration & Test, Guidance Navigation & Control, and Electrical Engineering. To be effective in this role, you will need:
- Experience in a Responsible Engineer / Product Lead role for analog and digital electronics.
- Experience working with Subcontractors and sub-tier suppliers.
- Familiarity with other engineering processes, disciplines and Subject Matter Experts.
- Familiarity with processes on failure investigation (root cause analysis, Failure Review Boards, etc.).
- Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
- Experience in different phases of aerospace electronic component development cycle.
- Experience interacting with peers, management and government customers.
- Proficiency in presentations and in written communications.
- 3+ years of professional experience.
- While no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI clearance , thus US Citizenship is required .
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Electronics and/or software background.
- Experience in development of Analog or Digital Electronic circuitry.
- Experience as a Responsible Engineer of analog and/or digital electronics.
- While no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.
Desired Skills:
- Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Experience leading technical teams.
- Experience developing products for space or missile applications.

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $97,100 - $171,235. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits offered:

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
