Description/Notes:

Provide direct instructional support and language development services to emergent bilingual students in grades Pre-K-5 through push-in, pull-out, co-teaching, and consultation models as determined by student needs and district programming. Support student growth in English language acquisition while ensuring access to grade-level curriculum through aligned instructional practices. This position supports student success through collaboration with classroom teachers, intervention staff, special education staff, administration, and families to ensure emergent bilingual students receive appropriate instructional supports while progressing toward English proficiency and grade-level academic success.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

Education/Certification:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Valid Texas teaching certificate
• ESL Certification required
• Bilingual certification preferred (if applicable based on student population needs)

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working with elementary emergent bilingual students
• Knowledge of TELPAS administration requirements
• Experience supporting literacy development
• Experience working within Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS/RTI)
• Experience collaborating with special education, dyslexia, and intervention teams preferred

Salary Range:

Salary Range:

$8,500 above state base, and may be based on experience. RCISD pays $550.00 toward health insurance.
