Summary Childress Elementary School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated educational leader to join our team as a full-time principal. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, promote academic excellence, and ensure the overall well-being of our students and staff. The principal will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and themunity to create a supportive and engaging atmosphere that encourages student growth and development. Responsibilities
  • Provide visionary leadership to create a positive school culture and climate that promotes student learning and achievement.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs and curriculum that meet the diverse needs of all students.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and themunity to enhance school engagement and support.
  • Oversee daily school operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Ensurepliance with state and federal regulations, as well as district policies and procedures.
  • Lead staff professional development initiatives and support teacher growth through coaching and mentoring.
  • Monitor and assess student performance and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Manage school budgets and resources effectively to maximize educational opportunities.
  • Promote a safe and inclusive environment for all students, staff, and visitors.
  • Collaborate withmunity organizations and stakeholders to enhance educational programs and resources.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders through regular updates, meetings, and reports. Requirements
  • Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field.
  • Valid state certification as a school principal or administrator.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in education, with at least three years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.
  • Excellentmunication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of educators and support staff.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable educational environment.
  • Proficient in the use of technology and data analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, andmunity members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigateplex situations effectively.
