E/M Assembler (2 shifts)

Position Summary:

Production assembler in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Must be able to reliably follow directions producing high-quality mechanical and/or electrical assemblies.

Shifts Available:

1 st Shift 6:00 am - 2:45 pm , 2nd

SHIFT:

2:15pm-11pm

Salary:

$18-$25 per hour depending on skillset, experience, and industry.

Minimum Background, Experience, and Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. 2-5 years of assembly experience. Must have basic English language proficiency to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies, and procedures. Soldering, hand crimping experience Able to read tape measure and operate simple power and manual hand tools. Ability to read detailed instructions/blueprints and understand assembly drawings and bill of materials. Deadline-driven and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

Receive production orders from the Team leader and assemble based on instructions provided by the supervisor and on work orders. Aid in the movement of component parts to the assembly area, and of finished parts to the next operation. Read blueprints and bill of materials to ensure proper parts are being assembled. Scan into and out of work orders correctly and record an accurate count of welded assemblies. Aid in other departments as needed by the supervisor.
