Email & SMS Marketing Manager

Westinghouse Outdoor Power Equipment is seeking a highly driven and execution-focused Email & SMS Marketing Manager to own and operate our lifecycle marketing efforts across email and SMS. This is a full-time salaried position based in Columbus, Ohio, reporting directly to the VP of Branding and Creative. This role is responsible for leading strategy, execution, and performance of all email and SMS marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, capable of building campaigns, automations, and segmentation while moving quickly and maintaining a high standard of quality. This individual will be the subject matter expert in Klaviyo and will play a key role in driving revenue through owned marketing channels. This is a do-it-all role for someone who wants to run the show, with the support of an in-house creative team to assist with design and brand execution.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Own and manage all email and SMS marketing efforts from strategy through execution and reportingBuild, deploy, and optimize campaigns, flows, and automations within KlaviyoDevelop lifecycle marketing strategies including acquisition, retention, and re-engagement Create and manage audience segmentation to drive personalized and high-performing campaignsWrite and generate email and SMS content using AI tools, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messagingCollaborate with the creative team to develop visually compelling assets that support campaign goalsAnalyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve campaign effectivenessBuild and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks to track revenue, engagement, and growthContinuously test and optimize subject lines, messaging, send times, and flowsEnsure compliance with email and SMS marketing regulations and best practices Stay current on trends, tools, and innovations in lifecycle marketing and AI-driven content creation

Required Skills/Abilities:

4-7 years of experience in email and SMS marketing with a strong focus on ecommerceDeep expertise in Klaviyo including flows, segmentation, and reportingProven ability to own and execute marketing campaigns end-to-endStrong analytical skills with experience interpreting data and driving decisions from insightsExperience using AI tools to generate and optimize marketing contentAbility to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent written communication skills with a focus on conversion-driven messagingSelf-starter with the ability to operate independently and take full ownership Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience working with Shopify or similar ecommerce platformsFamiliarity with SMS platforms and compliance standardsExperience building lifecycle marketing programs from the ground upBackground in consumer products or ecommerce brandsExperience with A/B testing frameworks and conversion rate optimization

Education and Experience:

4-7 years of experience in email and SMS marketing with a strong focus on ecommerce

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
