Job Description

Job Overview Join our dedicated emergency response team as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), where your quick thinking and compassionate care will make a vital difference in people's lives during their most critical moments. In this dynamic role, you will provide immediate medical assistance, stabilize patients, and transport them safely to healthcare facilities. Your expertise in emergency medicine and patient care will be essential in delivering high-quality care under pressure. Responsibilities Respond promptly to emergency calls, providing lifesaving medical care on scene and during transport. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to determine the severity of injuries or illnesses. Manage airways effectively using appropriate techniques and equipment to ensure patient oxygenation and ventilation. Administer medications necessary for patient stabilization. Perform procedures following established protocols. Operate emergency vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws; occasionally perform heavy lifting and physical exertion during patient extrication and transport. Maintain detailed documentation of patient care, vital signs, treatment provided, and incident reports accurately and promptly. Collaborate with hospital staff during triage and transfer processes at healthcare facilities to ensure seamless patient handoff. Follow all protocols and emergency medicine standards to deliver optimal patient outcomes. Experience Prior EMT experience with a proven track record in emergency medicine settings preferred. Hands-on experience with airway management, ventilation support, and medication administration. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, and patient assessment techniques. Familiarity with DME (Durable Medical Equipment) usage in emergency scenarios. Experience in urgent care or emergency room settings enhances readiness for this role. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to perform heavy lifting safely is essential.
