Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, DME (durable medical equipment), and aseptic techniques is essential. Proven ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or driving during emergency responses. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and South Carolina Paramedic credentials are required; additional certifications in critical care transport or advanced airway management are a plus.
