Emergency Nurse (RN) in Oatman, AZ

Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Contract Deliver critical care in a dynamic emergency department setting supporting a diverse patient population including adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. This role is an opportunity to utilize your skills in trauma, critical care, and emergency nursing at a state-of-the-art medical center. The 16-bed ED combines advanced technology with a team-based approach to provide urgent and emergent care around the clock.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care for emergent, urgent, and trauma patients in the ED Manage cardiac drips, ventilation, port access, IV therapy, and moderate sedation safely and effectively Monitor patient conditions using cardiac monitors and other advanced equipment Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-focused care while maintaining composure in high-stress situations Document thoroughly and accurately using Medhost EDIS electronic health record system

Qualifications & Experience:

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with a minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing or trauma care Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications required Strong skills in vent management, trauma patient care, port access, and cardiac drip administration Ability to provide care for behavioral health patients is a plus Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a team-based approach Professional appearance adhering to dress code: black scrubs, no open-toe shoes, and appropriate attire
