Employment Attorney

Our Employment Practices Group represents employers in complex and high-profile employment matters across a broad range of industries. The ideal candidate will bring strong litigation experience, exceptional advocacy skills, and the ability to independently manage sophisticated employment matters in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Independently handle all phases of employment litigation from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses Conduct and defend depositions Attend court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences Manage matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, and other employment-related claims Advise and counsel employers on workplace issues, compliance, and risk management Develop litigation strategy and maintain strong client relationships

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of employment litigation experience Admission to practice in New Jersey required; New York admission is a plus Strong experience handling matters in state and federal court Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload and prioritize multiple deadlines Superior academic credentials and strong attention to detail Experience counseling employers on employment law compliance and workplace policies preferred Why Join Kaufman Dolowich? Base Salary Range:

$160,000 - $195,000 Please note that the stated salary range is an estimate and does not guarantee a specific offer. Actual compensation will be determined based on market location, as well as the candidate's experience, skills, and job-related qualifications.
