Summary:
The EMT Advanced•Mobile Integrative Health role provides direct, non-urgent patient care and patient education in patient homes and community settings. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
Completion of EMT-Advanced course required.
License/Certifications:
Current state licensure as AEMT required. Active BLS certification required. Active state driver's license required. IBSC-CP (International Board of Specialty Certification•Community Paramedicine) within 6 months, CHW (Community Health Worker) Core Competency within 6 months, AAS in Public Safety, Public Health or health related field preferred
Experience:
Two years of clinical experience as an EMS provider.
Additional Skills/Requirements Required:
Working knowledge of chronic conditions. Experience with EMR systems and basic computer skills. Strong communication skills.
Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred :
Community/ service area experience preferred. CPI or alternate de-escalation training preferred.
